Wow, I didn't know how loaded Kentucky's schedule is. Kansas, Louisville, North Carolina, Texas, and UCLA all before the New Year?

When you play basketball in the SEC, you better load up in the non-conference (I'm only half-kidding here).

One of the beat writers for the women's team said months ago that Kentucky was a realistic option for a men's/women's double header this year. But with that schedule it's easy to see why it didn't work out.

I imagine that's more the reason Calismelli said "we don't mind taking a few early season L's while we're all learning"....giving him an out already. Funny stuff...

No need to kid, the SEC is as bad in basketball as they are great in football.

Legit question, better basketball conference? AAC or SEC? Kentucky and Florida are the obvious headliners, but Bama, Mizzou, LSU, and A&M are respectable (certainly better than the bottom 2/3 of the AAC). AAC is really only 4 teams UConn, Memphis, SMU, and Cincinnati. Through in Temple if they ever decide to show up.

But those kids in Africa need more shirts. Who has that picture to post again? One of my all time favorites.

still wish we had 1 more non-conference game against a top 15 team. Wish we could get Kansas on the schedule… or Kentucky.

Don't give up hope. Good chance to get either one or both in NCAA's,;)
