School closings have started in Fairfield County. Westport, Wilton, and New Canaan have all announced 2 week closings. Many more to come.

Schools in CT are closing Monday. Putting my money on it. I'm a teacher and there's been lots of hints and info being asked of us to do which all point to having things up and running and ready to send home things by Friday.
We don't have the resources to prevent or handle an epidemic so isolation is the next best option.
You're right. I''ve been reading first hand accounts from Italy and it's alarming. This is everywhere now. Isolation is the best way to combat this.
Italy just went into it’s most extreme lockdown: all businesses but pharmacies and groceries closed. We can expect the same in a few weeks if we don’t take drastic action now.
Agreed on percentage of kids actually working. We're putting stuff together online through Google Classroom, etc, but we'll see who actually does anything. We are not going overboard with it as we are being realistic, even if the higher ups are not.
My daughter a doctor told me not to go to the gym and I won't. All food is going to delivered by peapod stop and shop.
