It was a total "win now" move, but even then they might have been better off standing pat

It's definitely true, and it's also definitely true that we're jaded. My cousin and I were texting each other about how poorly Brown and Tatum played at the end of the second quarter. The Celtics had 68 points...

I love White. He's awesome.

It's up there, and off the top of my head I can't think of a worse one. Anthony Davis trade was steep for the Lakers but...they got a title. The Clippers got a Western Conference Finals in which Kawhi didn't play. It was their first and only Conference Finals appearance, but...yeah. What trades are even in contention? Probably the Celtics-Nets trade which gave Boston picks that ended up with Smart, Rozier, Brown, and Tatum, which may be worse...but that trade depended on the Celtics drafting well. The Clips just misjudged a dude they actually drafted.

Most of the other bad trades were forced (KAJ for bums, Kobe for Divac) or players who became great but were sort of unknown when the trade happened (Traylor for Nowitzki).

Aside from SGA, the picks that have transferred have gotten the Thunder Jalen Williams, and there are 3 first round picks left. Pau George is, at this moment, a bit better than Jalen Williams. But...like, not that much better. And it's Jalen Williams, SGA, Gallinari for a season, and three more picks. lol.
 
Yes Andre Jackson deserved to be pulled from the last game, but he shouldn’t be a DNP, and now I’m laughing at Doc Rivers as he’s going fishing tonight.
 
I dont watch the NBA but watching the NY Phil game. The 3 point shooting is horrendous. I think Alex can shoot better than many of these guys. The defense is actually horrible.

Knicks are too undisciplined and Thibs won’t play Precious who played lock down defense in game 4 and controlled the boards. I just don’t get why NBA don’t use their bench and they wonder why guys get worn down.

Hartenstein, Hart and OG are throwing this series themselves, and the flaws on the team have been accepted all year long and they always show up in the playoffs.
 
If Hart made a free throw at the end last game the Knicks would be playing the Pacers. Their front court can't handle Embid. Hart is not enough of a scorer. Going to be lucky to win.
 
Absolutely no idea why Thibs doesn’t use his very deep bench.

Guys are playing 40 mins for no reason.
 
If Andre could score in simple ways he’d be an even better Josh Hart. Who just does anything and everything to be valuable on the floor.

nba and college teams both average ~13 turnovers per game and nba games are 20% longer. college ball is definitely sloppier unless youre only watching uconn games

Why foul Maxey with 10 seconds left? Silly. I get the idea of not letting him get into his shot but he was 80 feet from the hoop.

Was not expecting Hart to make that. Brunson is a beast, the degree of difficulty on his shots is outrageous.

Probably because he was gonna hit it from 80 feet lol . Wouldnt have been necessary if free throws were made.
 
I'm okay with whatever happens now. The last time I liked watching Philly was when I was a little kid and they had Barkley. Bunch of whiners over there year after year.
