I seem to remember there being decent NBA discussions on this board during the playoffs in years past. Seems to be less interest every year. This thread will be moved to the “pro sports board” and subsequently dead in no time.

A shame as this is the most compelling playoffs in years. Kings vs Warriors last night was awesome. Should be a ton of great matchups in the next round. I’m very excited.

I definitely directed a lot more of my attention and a lot less to the Celtics this year. I'm on the bandwagon now though.
 
Ja was attacking AD foolishly all game and now it appears that he seriously injured himself after that collision

Now Tyler Hero breaks his hand damn the playoffs have turned into a gauntle already.
 
Going on the record: I am not a big Budenholzer fan. He has had arguably the best team in the NBA since 2018-2019, and he has only one title and two second round exits to show for it.

The hope would be for Newton to tighten his handle and become a Reaves-type of player. Roughly the same size & athletic profile, good at the same things (sees the floor, draws fouls, clever finisher in the paint) and with the same weaknesses (Reaves had to tighten his handle and polish his shot out of college).

Karaban is like Reaves only in lack of pigment.

I hate "the Process," and any team who intentionally tanks for multiple years as a sorry attempt at a title (which has still alluded them). They don't win it this year, I don't think it's happening anytime soon with an aging Harden and too many miles on a player like Embiid.

Go Celts.

Celtics are best team in NBA. I think when they ar healthy and motivated - and in nba that is hard— they annihilate teams.

Embiid is most unstoppable player. Literally, impossible to guard.

But he doesn’t play with a motor. He dominates in spurts.
