They're not really comparable.
I felt that way after last season. It doesn't matter, because if he is projected top 10 he almost has to go.
Edey returned because he was projected to be undrafted, Duncan and Shaq were completely different eras so we really can't even compare them to today's climate.
Edey went into last season as a proceed top 7 pick. He got exposed for not being ready, so he returned.
You'd have to provide receipts on Edey being mocked top 7 because that doesn't sound believable at all

I think that's enough to show he wasn't projected as a consensus top 7 pick before last season. If you can find one that had him as a top 7 pick then please post it.
