Impressive stuff from the Warriors in game 7 after they looked beat down and exhausted in game 6
The way this one played out was very reminiscent of the Kings series two years ago where they got blown out in game six at home and then stormed back with a resounding road win in game seven. Slightly different circumstances, but these game 7s that feature a vet-laden team against an up-and-comer all seem to play out the same way regardless of who's at home. Everyone's so spent physically that nothing will go down from deep and since the refs swallow their whistles it's hard to score at the rim. I think knowing how those games are called and what your body's capable of and what its not puts the more experienced team at a huge advantage.

Alas, as was the case two years ago, I expect this to be the last series they win. They're counting on their trio of vets to shoulder a workload right now that would be a big ask for three guys in their mid-20s. The next series is every other day through game five (at which point, for some reason, they will be given three full days off before game six). If they can make it to game six I give them a shot, but it'll be a tall task.

Well that changed quickly. As a Celtics fan they simply aren’t working to get good shots. Ugly.

Celtics got this a game of runs. Knicks winning their 2nd half participation trophy.

That was FUN. OG took over in the third, Brunson took over in the fourth, Bridges (51 minutes) took over in OT

Knicks steal one on the road. Down 20 in the second half but came back

.-.
Celtics got soft throwing up too many 3s, Knicks wanted it more.

Tatum jacking up 15 threes is really ridiculous. He can get by pretty much anyone but settles wayyy to often. He really crapped the bed tonight, along with JB.
Sadly, since the Celtics shot 25% from three to New York's 46%, they'll probably view the three point loss as a validation of their methods. And at least for this series, they'll probably be right.

But I continue to believe they're putting themselves at a disadvantage running offense the way they do late in these games, and that it could bite them if they ever meet an opponent on their level. All three point attempts are not created equal.

Amazing games tonight, two epic comebacks.
Okc is soft. How do you let them comeback. I bet OKC blows them out next game. Not sure they are tough enough to win the whole thing. They played like they did agains Dallas last year. SGA was shut down too at the end of the game and nobody else could score.

Jokic destroyed them in the 4th quarter and OKC's coaching plus Holmgren gave Gordon the chance to win it and he won it.

Daigneault went to the foul game up 3 way too early. Chet choked but OKC made that difficult on themselves fouling up 3 with like 11 secs left when Denver was still in their backcourt.

Either Holgrem or Williams need to step up and until that happens Denver is just going to double team and collapse on SGA drives since no one else is doing anything.

It'll be interesting to see how this series plays out from here. OKC is clearly the superior team, but with Denver having more experience + the best player in the series, I could see a scenario where both teams hold serve at home from here on out and this ends up being the deciding game.

But it's hard to see Denver beating them three more times given how bad their bench is. They were a -8 in the six Jokic minutes again tonight.

3-0 for the road teams in game 1- all 3 home teams are heavily favorite to win each series as well- hopefully at least two of the series go 6-7 games. Knicks showing guts & toughness, which is refreshing because they didn’t show much during the regular season- now 4-0 on the road in the NBA playoffs- LGK!!

I'm not a huge Knicks fan, and I know people have their issues with Bridges, but watching him just take the ball away from Brown on the last play was pretty satisfying

The C's will be fine if their shooting reverts to the mean.

Both that and horrible execution. OKC was fouling a fraction of a second into the play. I get not wanting to foul someone on a 3-pointer but you have to fully commit to the strategy or you'll get burnt like they did.

Yup, I just don't see how fouling guys in the backcourt with not even a full second coming off of the clock was good execution. Thunder were extending that game to their detriment
