NBA Finals: OKC v Indiana

Honestly, I can't even believe there's an argument about how good Indiana is, if any fans "predicted it", and why it's so shocking that the team who was really good after the all star break is in the finals, and doing pretty damn well to boot.

Having said that, is this correct? The Pacers were not the 2nd best team after the all star break, but rather the 6th best. Still, the Pacers have had an unbelievable run thru the playoffs - taking out the Bucks (probably no surprise), then the Cavs and the Knicks, BTW losing only 4 games total in those 2 series.

Pacers are legit. Not sure how anyone could argue otherwise. Side note - I love that a pair of smaller market teams are in the finals. I don't give a crap about the ratings of the series - it's great to see.

It's since January 1, not the All Star break

I did have the Pacers winning this series btw but I hope OKC wins. Carlisle is an adjustment coach, Pacers look like they were hiding their cards for the playoffs.

I think OKC will thump the Pacers tomorrow night. Won't be close. Pacers left everything they had in Game 6. If Haliburton wasn't hurt, I would feel a bit differently.. OKC just has too much firepower playing at home...

Hali knew what it was immediately, that was the worst fear with him playing on that strained calf

Haliburton collapsed non-contact after pushing off on his hurt leg trying to drive

Looked like the calf popped. Immediately starting slamming the floor and crying

Pretty sure that’s an Achilles….. really really heartbreaking for him
That's 3 Achilles tears for star players in this playoffs. It's overuse

Win or lose, I respect the guy for leaving it on the floor when he's clearly hurt. He's got heart

Same. Luckily he signed that max contract extension already. He’ll get his money during recovery and then will have a few seasons of contract security to ramp back up

Pacers are having so much trouble holding onto any defensive rebounds, and just getting the ball up court to initiate offense. This shouldn't be close at all. Thunder should blow it open.

OKC playing tight under the game 7 lights, JDub has looked shook in the first half

Give them credit - they go so deep and play their b@lls off. Nembhard is slowing down SGA just enough and no one else is stepping up.

Just so awful. What a terrible end to an all-time clutch playoff run. Hopefully his guys can pick it up and get him this last one. That would be so sweet.
Yuck Haliburton is one of biggest ego trips in NBA. I hope his team loses and he nevers comes back to a final.

Just tuned in expecting to Indy down 20. It's a 3 point game early 3rd quarter

Indy got too much going against them as it is, you can't start turning it over and giving up offensive rebs every possession
