Just flipped on the set after running around and the NASCAR guys were taking about a Ct driver when they congratulated UConn for winning men's and women's NC's for second time in history. Amazing!

NASCAR was also in Fort Worth during the final our last week. They were also in Phoenix during our 99 regional games (made it really hard to find an affordable hotel). NASCAR apparently good for the mojo.

Darrell Waltrip is apparently a big KY fan and kept talking about their run for a few weeks and during the Sunday show that was rained out. I didn't watch the Monday airing of the race, but I'm sure he talked about it then too. The other announcers were basically busting his chops. That's why he said 'what does that have to do with tonight?'

He is also about the dumbest person making 6 figures or more broadcasting sports. One race when a drivers throttled stuck, you can see the driver locking up the brakes to slow down as much as possible before slamming the wall. His comment - 'That's one smart dude locking up his brakes before slamming the wall!'

Got to remember this for next year. Plenty of Mojo possibilites for Deep. Mullets for everyone!

Mike Joy was the announcer who offered congratulations - he grew up in CT.

They were talking about Parker Kligerman, who is from Westport.

In addition, Middletown's own Joey Logano won the race on Monday.

NASCAR mojo is an under-rated mojo.

The Carrier Dome will host the sweet 16 East Region, wow.
