Starting a game is merely getting your name announced during the opening introductions, what matters is how effectively you play the minutes you're given. Kiah Stokes wasn't a starter last season, but she altered games when she came in, particularly against ND and South Carolina. Lou has had some moments and is starting to show flashes of brilliance, but Napheesa has been the more consistent of the two and is much better defensively which is probably why she starts.
Too much importance/emphasis placed on starting. It's finishing that's the key.
Hey I've been calling for Geno to put in TLaw every game. Perhaps I'm on to something?T
Then Pulido and Lawlor should be on the Wooden list.
It must be a relief for KLS to see her shots finally going down. Seems like the last couple of weeks she is just going out there and playing and not overly thinking. She is taking what her coaches are telling her to heart and it is paying dividends. Imagine how good she will be next year when she makes that sophomore leap?Katie Lou is looking like an AA. She has moves can drive, use either hand, block shots, dribble and hit the outside shot on the run. Not much more to say except get her minutes and more minutes and she will produce. I really liked what Ive seen the past couple of games. What time is it?...Katie Lou Time.

Just one thing Tony ... she does not like being called Katie Lou. She's Lou at home and on the team.

Based on what we saw tonight, if KlS stays focused its her spot to lose...good call.Ill go out on a limb and predict Lou will start the rest of the year - could be wrong but that's my guess !
