You're kidding right? Every Division 1 school in the country has lower admittance standards for scholarship atheletes. Trust me Stanford recruits and admits a lot higher percentage than what you are stating,

I've followed Stanford for 25 years and know the program very, very well. I've listened to many talks by Tara and Amy about recruiting. I'm not saying 7% athletes are admitted, but rather the % of athletes they can 'recruit".
