I checked older box scores. Same starting line-up, so not due to injuries. You would have to try to play this badly! So hard to imagine - almost like a job-action or a work slow-down.

VA Tech was 15 - 0 to start the season, and now have lost 4 out of 5.

UVA outscored Tech 23-5 in the second quarter and 21-2 in the third. I haven't been to a wbb game in Charlottesville in 25 years, but the place could be raucous back in the day. I thought this might be an upset, but not to the degree it was.

My, how the mighty have fallen. It was only a few weeks ago they were still among the teams that were undefeated.

Virginia Tech has beaten one ranked team all year, Tennessee around Thanksgiving. They've lost to their other four ranked opponents and been crushed by three of them. A team that benefited from weak competition.

I was at the game...Go Hoos! VT obviously played a cupcake preconference schedule (other than the big win against "ranked Lady Vols"). UVA played Louisville to OT. But in this game, VT just sucked and UVA played the best I've seen them play. Very tough defense, combined with awful shooting (and at some point Tech giving up) produced this crazy score. When VT was 15-0 I wondered how their new coach, with no major new players, could get so good so fast. Or not!

@VA Huskie would be interested in your thoughts on Fee. (Felicia Aiyeotan) I see Fee is averaging about 12 minutes per game which is ahead of where I projected for her. Is she having a real impact for UVA shot blocking and rebounding.
