The great Paul Anka (no, not Sinatra or Elvis) song, "I Did It My Way," could readily fit many Huskies, from Diana and Maya to Charde or EDD. All in the mind of the Boneyarder.

Yet another song with widespread applications -- but only on that LOI signing day -- is the Fats Waller classic: "I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter."

I know the subject is a little ghastly, but I used to start humming R.E.M.'s "Orange Crush" a few times during DT's career.

Seals & Crofts' sobby "We May Never Pass This Way Again" came to mind either when the assists were flying around especially well or at those end-of-season moments for the Huskies.

There is a local 80's cover band named "Orange Crush". Guess they started out as a REM cover band. They played in our town (summer series) a couple years ago, really pretty good. However, they had a request list they put up. I put "Driver 8" and "Orange Crush" on it.........they said they'd had a couple member changes and some of the guys didn't know them.

What? I was bummed.
