Sometimes I wonder how some people can claim to be fans of Geno and the Huskies yet clearly do not like the way Geno has them play and what abilities he recruits for. He has often stated he wants post players that are versatile and can shoot from the outside so that they can draw the other teams bigs out away from the basket to provide space for his guards yet all I seem to see is complaints when they go outside away from the basket or shoot from there. That is exactly what he is telling them to do. Success at that will gain them playing minutes. He wants guards that can shoot the 3 ball but also drive and get to the foul line. The driving didn't happen in the exhibition and he complained about that. I believe in Geno's system and will be happy if our bigs can play the way he wants exceptionally well.
