It is hard to even comprehend the level
of dumpster fire we have on our hands. Athletes going at athletic directors? Can't wait for tomorrow.
Different take/context on SN comment from Dom Amore. Bit different than Duffy.
"I thought after the Michigan State game [Nov. 9] he was going to get the job," guard Shabazz Napier said, "and at other times, it seems like it's not going to happen. … No matter what we do on the court, it's not going to be in our hands." By that, Napier said, he means, "It's not about winning. A lot of people don't care how we do on the court, but off the court, how we conduct ourselves in society, and how we do in class. I think our AD is one of those people."

YES YES YES!!!!bazz is a smart ass kid. he tells it as he sees it. hes in the building every day so if anyone would see it and be willing to speak it, its bazz. he sees how warde is all talk no game. i would love it if bazz saw warde down and told him to stfu and get some work done. stop looking like a fool going on radio and paper interviews and saying either nothing of substance or stupid things that just confirm to us fans that you are not in the loop and its all susan doing the CR work. ko should have had a legit contract forem the start and u continue to **** up things. why would bazz think after the msu win that ko might get a contract? for him to have that impression at all means that inside the ad there must be mixed siganls going to the masses. warde has created a ****ing mess i tell u all.
This is a much better quote. Shabazz comes off as saying "Warde is about more than wins". He was not at all controversial.
No, he said, "Warde doesn't care about wins or on the court results, he cares only about off the court results." To have an AD who cares about the basketball players' scholarship but not about their wins? That's an Ivy League AD, not a big-time athletics AD. It should be controversial.
paul pend comes in:
-bball facility $ jumps quick
-donations are up or solid i forget what a article said on that
-helps susan with end and jc with his goals also
Im sure KO is not happy. Puts him in a very uncomfortable spot.
Not a fan of the pledge but i liked the way he got $ flowing quick. Hes good fund raising wise. We should have 5 of those guys like other schools.Let's not get carried away. When "paul pend" came in, his introductory speech didn't contain one word about CA. He was lost. All he did was mandate saying the pledge every game.
Where are you pulling that quote from?

Failure to perform? Seriously? Ask Upstater about the APR process. It has nothing to do with academic performance. Ask UNC how they blow off the NCAA every year with fake classes for athletes and tell me WE have an academic issue. There was a witch hunt orchestrated by Emmert, a former UConn official, who apparently rubbed a lot of people at UConn the wrong way, and decided to get back at them once at the NCAA kangaroo court. Can you say double jeopardy? We went through 2 punishments for the same issue. One was retroactive for God's sake.Given the history of the program since 2006, that might not be such a bad thing. Especially considering UConn is sitting home come March due to failure to perform in the classroom. And we are still suffering the ill effects of recruiting a guy who never played a minute because he got expelled for violating a court order.

do u want to go to the b10 and get stomped in every sport, be exposed as a crapy school and get asked to leave faster then a fat girl after midnight at a frat party? susan has the b1gharder under control from that side of it. warde has created a mess, hole place is up in flames. we need contract extensions months ago, a new staff or the coreect in house change months ago. we needed new marketing months ago...and so much more. nothing has gotten done. i dont want to go to the b10 and become umass. i want to go to the b10 and become michigan, florida or texas. if all we can do is umass levle bull ****, then we shouldnt go anywhere and we should burn down the ad and apply to the ivy league only to get rejected anyway.
