Notre Dame has no duty to "save" 16 + school conferences.......from themselves, apparently.

If those schools/conferences cannot save themselves, it is not on ND to save them.

Thus, virus.

They said the same of the BE 20 years ago. Inviting them in is a recipe for disaster. They want everything and give little.

ND only gets away with their BS because all of these conferences allow it. The ACC should tell them all in or get out. I wish The B1G would do the same. The special treatment routine was old 30 years ago.

ND loudly and repeatedly told both the Big East and the ACC up front that football would never permanently join their conference.

With multiple full disclosures, both conferences voted to admit ND without football.

Somehow, some way, it was/is ND's "fault" that it is a a member without football being included.

I just don't understand why conferences are so dumb that they fall over each other to accept ND into their conference for every sport except the only one that is a true national brand

That’s the deal the conferences made.. on the other had, the ACC can hardly be faulted for lobbying to get a football member into the playoffs. That’s the deal ND made.
