Does everyone else expect at some point for most recruits who have "heard from" Kentucky to eventually say ".........I might wait to hear from Coach Cal because he gets people into the next level..." LOL

Talked to him last night via twitter and he said that he does not have any top schools right now and that UConn, Syracuse, Villanova, Rutgers, West Virginia, Kansas, UCLA, Florida, Miami, Kentucky, and Arizona are coming after him the hardest. He said that he has offers from all of those schools. Then said he has no visits planned at this time.

At this point, Cal can pretty much pick and choose his players. If we're planning on beating them out for five star recruits, we're going to fail 95% of the time. However, we failed in 2011, too, and instead we got guys like Napier, Lamb, and Smith, all of whom eventually helped us win a championship. This program will have to continue to thrive with these type of players.

Not necessarily. When Calhoun retires and suppose Ollie becomes the new head coach we will get higher rated recruits more often. Lots of recruits rave about Ollie and they say that if he was to become the new head coach that would impact their college decisions; most notably Xavier Rathan-Mayes.

I'm not trying to push Calhoun out the door by any means but I expect our recruiting to really pick up when Ollie is named head coach.

I expect people to go crazy at this comment but I agree

Certainly understand the comment and won't go "crazy" over it but to believe we will get better recruits for sure when JC retires is ridiculous. #1 you need to continue to win so the program is appealing and there is no guarantee there....without wins, no recruits! Love KO but let's not get out of control quite yet!
