More Giffey, less Daniels

I agree with what your saying for the most part. Realistically tho, Bazz and Boat need to both play 30+ minutes for their scoring threat and ball handling. I'm sure you agree.

Yea I dont mind Napier playing alot because we need him but with him, Boat, and lamb together we are small and we dont defend well. We need to usually go to a bigger lineup to at least be sound defensively, because our 2 little guard lineup with lamb at the 3 does not work well together, and they let their man drive to the basket almost untouched and get our big men either in foul trouble or let them go in for easy layups or dunks.

I was glad when Giffey smacked Dion Waiters down when he drove in for another open dunk. Thats what I want to see out of the guys defensively, and also Drummond, Oriakhi, Roscoe, anyone needs to step to take the charge when someone drives or contest the guy driving to the hoop. Our defense is the main reason why we are not winning close games and not our offense which is why Roscoe is so desperately needed.

P.S. I like what I see out of our guys and the rotation is right where it needs to be. We are playing good basketball, and the guys are coming along. Defense should be the main priority for us, and also Boatright finally learning that he could penetrate against the zone and attack like Kemba did will really help this team reach its potential.

Never thought I would ever say this but that play where Giffey planted Waiters into the nineteenth row when he drove to the basket may have turned the season around. Lets hope it continues over to the Providence game.

niels plays hard, hits shots from time to time, plays GREAT D. Daniels.....lacks on D, very slow, shoots and misses everytime. I really shudder when I see daniels walk onto the court. Giff needs to start shooting a little more when he has an open shot....I think he'll make more then miss. All a head thing for him, I think he feels that if he shoots and misses, he won't see more PT. But I think he needs to be aware that hes WAY more important to this team then he might think....Daniels just needs to get confidence and play a lot harder...if he can't do that then he mind as well ride pine while Giff gets the PT. I love Niels defense.

This is one reason I want to see Giffey get more minuets, Daniels is soft, really soft. So soft even Gavin Edwards thinks he is soft.

DD is the 8th grader on the high school varsity team, his skill level might be there but physically and mentally he is nowhere close to the rest of the players.
