Monday (3/25): NCAA 2nd round games

Congrats to SDSU. In a Tourney lacking many upsets, nice to see them advance.

Two home seed losses for ACC teams. Hmm.
You beat me to it.

I want to pile on so bad, but I don't want to diminish the accomplishment of "my Sun Devils" and "my Jackrabbits." :p

Maryland 1-13 for 3 and have allowed 2,000 offensive rebounds. Not sure how you can expect to win that way

Big shot by Burke. 81-78 under a minute left.

Whichever team wins, UConn will have a tussle as tough as Buffalo. Both these teams play like honey badgers.

Final: NC State beats Kentucky, 72-57, and advances to its 13th Sweet 16.

At 28-5, NC State reaches 28 wins in a season for the first time since 1980.

The way they just keep rolling along despite all the adversity, I kind of expect them to beat Iowa.

They'll certainly have the de facto home court advantage. It'll be a really good game either way. Unless there's another upset, it'll be the only Sweet 16 without a clear favorite.

Wow, I don't think Maryland wanted to foul there. Especially Dean.

I will just say: Hopefully next time around they take one of the hosting spots from the passel of questionable ACC teams and give it to, say, the Summit League :)

If UCLA wins, the womens tournament will have a less "chalk" sweet 16 than the men for the first time ever (presumably)

Maryland has been pounding the O boards too. Got several good looks at that, now at the line.

Yikes, their FT shooting has been bad.

Tell ya what.... I'll be in the stands pulling for Iowa... ok ???:oops:Head bangHead bangHead bangHead bang

That does it. UCLA wins.

Pac 12 is kicking butt again this year.

Man, I so wanted double OT. But I though UCLA would win nonetheless.

Yes...it has. State doing much better on the boards the last couple of minutes.

I figured it would only be a matter of time. You could tell NC State was the better team, but KY can be a pesky defensive team. They just don't have a ton of production on offense.

UConn vs. UCLA, it's like deja vu all over again. Isn't this the third time in the last 4 years?

I wanna be upset that Syracuse let the ACC down but SD State earned my respect when they played ND tough a couple years ago. Great program that plays a good brand of basketball.

Unlike Syracuse which is nothing but gimmicks from their style of play to Hillsman's ugly suits.

I hope UCLA is flying home tonight and the flying all the way back later.

UCLA does not looks like their record tbh

They have played some great basketball to end the year and are getting hot at the right time. Good for them.
