I thought long and hard about it and this place just isn't the same place it was back then. Way too many new people, way too many people disinterested in shaming, sig lines, posting pics/gifs, etc. It was embarrassing and a waste of time to try and force feed it the last couple years and the fact is, it was an epic era that's in the rear view window.

You have people openly picking when we'll lose this tournament, including people publicly saying it'll be against #15 seed Furman.

And here's the thing. It's fine. Write your amazing haikus and say DOOOOOOMED all you want. That must be the trick if those are the only things we do for good luck nowadays.

For what it's worth, if you do, in your eulogy, I will say Deepster, you may have been an ass hat, but you died well.
 
My mojo was watching all the tournament games in 22/23 and 23/24 with a friend who went to UConn on my couch. Now he’s at law school, so I can’t do that. Gotta figure out something new.

Lol, there hasn't been a hand on the wheel for years since you shat all over the process consistently and unrelentingly, during the postseason, and during the year. Nobody dubbed you an ass hat you earned that title all on your own. So you might as well run with it. Consider adding it beneath your avatar or to your signature. It's the least you can do. Alternatively, you can just "Shut up, because you're an ass hat."
 
We’ve all seen this movie before. Deep “retires”. After we look good the first weekend, he elbows his way to the front, and declares his “throw a wet blanket on everything anti-mojo” was actually the new mojo and our success is all due to him.

He might be right. Who knows?

Just make sure to look for and embrace the mojo wherever you find it. We all need to do our part

Lol, I always love how you run away from the judgeship whenever our postseason success seems less likely, but then, after an initial run, you hop back on board.

To be clear, I'm taking over nothing. I'm just calling you out for being such an ass hat about Mojo. That's an annual tradition. But I absolutely look forward to you, shutting up, because you are an ass hat.

For what it's worth, I look forward to reading about you in the newspaper. Do the right thing Deep.

Last time he pulled this crappie, there was the ongoing effort. But then he( Deepster) defiantly rose back up from the dead to claim, somehow, that his abdication wasn't really an abdication, or some other weak asht.

Anyway, iI tried then to get it done.

And I have the hanger picked out, and the sentence at the ready.

If Deepster can keep his yap shut ( A massively huge "if") we can get this Mojo train going....
