Anyone know anything about this kid? NY Post story today. 6-11 HS Jr from Harlem. Averaging 18 pts, 14 boards, 6 blocks / game, NO PFs. Played with Terry Larrier of UConn, visiting St Johns tonite.

such is the case with a lot of the guys we are after though. If he buys into the family atmosphere, connects with our staff and players then we should be able come away with him. Barring injury or catastrophic disappointment, he is more than likely a top 3-5 pick whether he plays at UK, Duke, Uconn or some no name school. It's just a matter of where he wants to spend his time before that happens.

I think Chief is JC. He must be bored in retirement. No one else would be so connected to the program to realize all Bunkey's contributions and to have such astute observations on the game of basketball. Insider tip: Chief being out of pocket corresponded with JC being on a golfing trip. It all makes sense.

He worked his butt off and he was a HOF coach but it was a different time -we were in the best basketball conference in the country. KO does an amazing job - he just needs that extra edge - beyond himself. Bunk could throw a great party and everyone has a fun, memorable time - that's a gift - and a rare skill set.
