So who's gonna join me and hoping these two squads meet up in the SEC tourney :D:D:cool::cool::p

As a youngster in the south.... I aspired to be one of those with a mouth full of tobacco. long story short.... after about 7 second of trying it out..... I quickly realized it wasnt for me :oops::oops: I just went with the chewing up of raisins to get the desired effect.

Some of our fans may have a fainting spell they will never recover from if we had to play the most evil team in basketball history again..

I’d think it would be kinda fun but probably best to avoid that one if we can.

Mizzou had a police escort onto the court and off the court, their fans sat behind them during the game... LOL, the lies man.

Our AD just released a statement refuting Pingeton's claims. This is so ugly. How unfortunate.

Tournament or not, I want nothing to do with Missouri. Even if it makes it more difficult for SC to win the SEC, I hope Mississippi State wipes the floor clean with them on Thursday. I wish that program nothing but failure.
Can you link to the AD's statement?

When I was stationed in SC, I tried Copenhagen with much the same results that you had with chewing tobacco.

Here is statement if it’s legible.

Basically they hired extra security and support staff the game and none of that staff reported anything like what Missouri claimed.

Considering the things SC fans were saying about the Missouri players and coaches, and Wilson providing an unnecessary jab at Cunningham (who outperformed her in both meetings) during the postgame presser, it wouldn’t surprise me if they actually did do it.

That being said, both sides should be held accountable for what happened.

What did the SC fans say about the Mizzou players and coaches? Did you check and see what the Mizzou fans were saying about the SC players and coaches as well?

Did you see where Cunningham pushed A'ja Wilson after the final buzzer?

Just because you didn't see something doesn't mean it didn't happen.

Oh trust me I was paying close attention to them especially after Cliney went down at the end and apparently our AD and their security escort didn't see anything either.... so what does that mean??? IT'S ALL LIES!!!

I think if they meet for round 3..... it should be Pay Per View :D:p:cool:;):)

I'm confused... what unnecessary jab did Aja say about Sophie???

I'm still waiting for the unnecessary jab that Wilson threw at Cunningham in the post game presser...

If you're talking about that Wilson eye roll, then yeah, perhaps that was just as unnecessary as that shove that Cunningham felt the need to get in at the end of the game which inspired the eye roll in the first place.

I did! I did!

Maybe her intent was just to pat her on the back for playing a good game.

Or wipe a stray loogy off her back.

Surely it wasn’t frustration over being shut down in crunch time and falling out of the sec race.

Exactly I'm waiting as well... hell I would even give Aja a pat on the back if she came out and said "She's Dirty" because IT'S THE TRUTH! But that's not the person A'ja is, she has way more class then that.

You seem to already know exactly what I was talking about. And yes, Sophie did push her. Just like Sophie was pushed by Cliney. And Missouri fans could’ve called SC players those things, but SC fans seemed to have no problem harassing Cunningham on the Internet shortly after the loss and for the weeks that followed. Quit portraying your side as angels

Watched it a second time: when asked directly about Cunningham shoving her after the last shot, Wilson laughed and said “it’s just fun and games.”

When asked about relishing defending Cunningham, she basically just said she treats her like any other player and does the best she can on her. Nothing derogatory.

And did you seen Aja Wilson leading with elbows because she couldn’t get shots off? Ah the benefit of being at home :) surely had the game been in Missouri she would’ve been called for those same elbows.

Aren't you a Stanford fan??

No.i didn’t. I saw Alaina Coates do it on occasion when she was being bodied - not really Aja’s bag.

I saw them review Aja on a play where she was fouled to check if she did swing elbows and they correctly concluded that she didn’t.

When you triple team a player and body her up there is going to be contact whether she swings her elbow or not.

Missouri tried not to give her any space so that when she turned to the basket there often was contact. Not with elbows but with her body. She was whistled for at least two offensive fouls for that.

It’s that physicality that Missouri thrives on and imposes on the game. Along with grabs, pushes, sharp elbows, hard (but legal) screens, and some not so legal screens.

USC doesn’t like it. A lot of teams don’t like it. It’s why the Auburn coach called them the dirtiest team in the league. It is why Cunningham had an altercation at LSU last week as well.

This isn’t the worst team in history but it’s extremely annoying to read 8 pages slamming what is USC’s least physical team in years as the aggressor in this series. To be frank it’s horse hockey. Excuse my colorful metaphors.

:eek::eek::eek::eek:Wait, USC? What do the Trojans got to do with this.? Sounds like you are calling them soft.

Aren't you a Stanford fan??

Yep, but what difference does it make? Aren’t you a SC fan.....whining about Missouri.....on a UConn board? Woooow. Perhaps a SC board is more apporpriate for the argument you’re trying to make, more people would agree with it. You could also try forming a support group for all the “troubles” Cunningham has caused for the SEC :D
