14 point lead at the half. McCowan sat most of the 2nd with foul trouble. Holmes/Danberry were standouts in the first half. I'm not sure Mississippi State is a top 4-5 team, but I'm starting to think Texas may not be a top 20 team with this lineup.

Didn't like the way we ended the half, but at least Vic has learned to put players in and out due to necessity instead of quarters. McCowan will take over in the 2nd half, and that was the intent.

it's a good thing Charli Collier stayed in Texas................she'd be getting plenty of bench time after the wild shots she's been taking if she were playing for Geno.........

This game is hard to watch. Texas from season to season looks completely disorganized on offense. I don't see any spacing in their offense. They have the Texas coach mic'ed up and she hasn't said an inspiring comment yet. I realize Texas has some serious injury issues, and it shows. Not sure this is much of a test for MSU. Will wait to make a judgment on MSU after they play University of Oregon.

Less than 2 minutes to go, huge lead and Vic still has most of his starters in. If Geno did this, not only would we have national leaders in scoring and assists, but the press would crucify him. SMH

He's breaking in 4 new starters.. they need all the court time they can get, especially with the opponents they have coming up.

If Vic is going to play pressure defense like that for the entire game more young ladies will have to see more time. Myah Taylor was a 5 star recruit who redshirted last year yet she can't get any time in a game like today?!?!?!?!?!?!? He's gonna run Jaz into the ground if he keeps this crap up. Also why the hell is BreAmber playing ahead of Xaria and AEH?!?!?!? Vic is use to recruiting 2 and 3 star recruits...players like AEH, Wiggina, and Myah Taylor were all 5 star recruits who could have gone to a lot of top notch school...they aren't gonna ride the bench all year and wait their turn. These young ladies wanna play. The southern preacher is going to find out pretty quick what it's like to have highly recruited players on his roster...will be interesting to see how he deals with it...that's for sure.
