Chavez just tried to drive past Howard AND McCowan. Ah, youthful exuberance.

Still, I like the confidence. She may have been a bit underrated in the recruiting rankings. ESPN #61.

57-55 Oregon after Q3. End of the 3rd was as bad for MSU as the end of Q2 for Oregon.

Ionescu has 16 but only 4-14 from the floor. Cazorla has easily been the best Duck tonight.

Ionescu has missed 3 or 4 midrange js of the variety that she makes in her sleep.

Great game, this is the type game WBB needs, both teams playing hard! Hope we prevail but either way, great game!

Ionescu was just trying too hard the entire quarter. She looked tight and uncomfortable even on made shots. Oregon needs to get to loose balls and cut down on MSS offensive rebounds if they want to win this one. They need to stay out of foul trouble and not let MSS win this one at the line. They also need to take better advantage of their screen and roll action. They moved Ionescu onto Howard and that helped there though.

I wouldn’t mind throwing Andra and Chloe out there for a few minutes at the same time.

Oregon is famously not known as a defensive team, but their defensive game plan has succeeded in neutralizing McCowan, who absolutely killed them when they played last year. She is still making her presence felt on the O-boards.

Danberry picked up #4. Ionescu is hitting her FTs at least.

Um, they wax poetically about 8,951 attending yet UConn AVERAGED 10,000+ last year!

Sillysillysilly foul out.

Jaz and Jordan don't need to be on the court together because neither can shoot...Vic only plays both of them because they are seniors..has nothing to do with what would be best for the team.

Ooooh, Danberry picks up her 4th and 5th fouls in the first 35 secs of 4Q.

I'm just glad a great game of two high caliber teams is on ESPN before January.

Interesting that Graves has not yet put Sabally back into the game, still on the bench with 3 fouls.

Ionescu fouled on a 3. Maybe she's gonna win this one from the FT line.

As soon as I compared their defense to ND's (not a compliment, lol) it suddenly got better. They've done a great job on McCowan all night, though. And now Howard has slowed down a bit.

Big center, long armed wings and guards made it a tough game for McCowan.

Hebard and McCowan battling hard for that rebound
