beautiful dish and drive by Cazorla to Hebard

51-49, looked like it was about to be game over

Oregon's in bounds plays are unlike many who bring a big up at the top of a triangle near the half court. Oregon just crowds below the arc.

Oregon and screen and roll all night, McCowan isn’t even hedging anymore.

Finally they realized Hebard is open when McCowan hedges! They could’ve done that a ton in the first half.

and-1 for Hebard, FT coming up after the break

MSU hit a mid range jumper on the other end

McCowan was way behind the play on that last bucket by Hebard

The debate about draft picks in the upcoming draft, there should be some concerns about both Brown and McCowan. Looks like both can be run off the floor.

But but but they’re 6’7!! You can’t teach 6’7!!

Still, Oregon is just no good at loose balls tonight.

MSU is gonna get about 8 chances on this possession.

I don’t understand why Schaefer has McCowan swiping at the guard everytime she’s drawn out to the three point line. It does nothing but leaves her out of position defensively. And it’s become too predictable. I was hoping Schaefer would fix that at halftime, but I guess not.

That took a long time, but McCowan just picked up #3

But getting up under a player so they can’t plant their feet or bodying a player so they can’t make a move is the issue. That’s like saying undercutting isn’t in the rule book because the player left the floor and doesn’t own that court space to land anymore. Part of it came more with that “freedom of movement” emphasis a few years ago. You must give players room to move or it basically implies too much physical contact.
You do own the space underneath you when you jump, but you don't own the space into which you may want to move, as on a pivot. You can't legally pivot into space occupied by your defender. Nor (Shaquille O'Neal notwithstanding) can you ram your rear end into the defender's stomach, or swing your arms into the defender's body. Any move you make has to be into unoccupied space.

Vic has surrounded Big T with players who like can't shoot other than Bibby. Jaz is still serving no purpose out there at all.

Vic earned that one. Never seen him so upset.
