Currently riding a 3 game losing streak and in a tight battle with Tulsa, of all teams, midway thru the 2nd half. I fully expect Minnesota to win, but i'm surprised it's so close early on. Some real struggles for the Lynx the last 4 games... The magnificent one is having a nice game tho - 11 points so far!!

Minny is tied at 42 late in the first half. They will play better defense in the second half and win by 10+. But Tulsa is improved.

Meanwhile the Sun lead the Mystics by 5 with 4:00 to go. Tina has 16 and 8, plus 4 assists and a block.

Indy and NY have the other noon game today.

Maya: 8 for 12, 2 for 2, 6 for 6; not a bad afternoon at all.

Minnesota is not at full strength. Maya was their starting PF today as Brunson, Peters and Adair are all out with injuries until after the Olympic break.

Meanwhile, the Sun are tearing up the league (OK it was only Wash.), but poor Renee just can't get untracked.

Didn't Geno tell her that coming off the bench might be good for her since she's an immature player at the moment, or something like that?

Plus, Kara Lawson has been playing out of her mind this year.

I didn't know that all 3 were out. I saw that Wright started in place of Brunson--definitely a smaller lineup. Amber Harris got some PT.

The Sun got killed on the boards today by something like 38-23, but they shot well enough and won.

Yeah, well that's partly a whole differnt conversation - after all, Kara Lawson should be on the Olympic team instead of Ashja Jones...
