No doubt, there is a logjam at the 2-3, why I thought it was a longshot Stew was sticking. It could be part of what is creating the issue with Ball. I'm sure they are hammering out the details to finalize, but at the same time, not sure it makes us a worse team by moving Mullins to the two and being a bigger and better defensive team with Landrew/Ross at the 3. Especially now that we have a "shooter" at the 4. This would be firmly moving to more of the 23 roster and Ross hopefully making another leap into the Ajx type role. Khamenia and Mullins do the AK/Hawkins.

We are at our best with 3 serviceable guards playing out there with a 3 or 4 and a center.

Newton/Caste/Cam/AK/Clingan
Demary/Ball/Mullins/AK/Reed

Don’t see how it’s an issue to have

Demary/Ball/Mullins with Khamenia and Hines with ready to go subs of Ross, Landrew, County and tbd backup C.

Ross could be a perfect 6th man of the year if we start Khamenia.

That gets us to a 9 man rotation and the remaining question is who handles the ball of Silas is sitting: Ball, Mullins, County?
