Pop Isaacs has started at some major programs - he is not coming to backup Demary. Who we bring is for that role is likely someone we have no idea on. I haven't looked at mid major senior PG's, but I'd start there.Your choices are on my potential targets list as well. In Danny we trust!

Was listening to a CBB podcast the other day and they were saying the vein that's gonna be mined much more imare foreign players because there's not enough domestic players available to match the needs of all the teams that need players. Therefore many will go overseas, and now that the NCAA is allowing foreign trips every year , they said you're gonna see some strategy with where teams go and who they play.UConn is in a way better position than most, but the portal is not the supermarket.
Teams dont have real control over who transfers, and kids leave before teams have a chance to find a replacement.
Sometimes, you're just screwed and scrambling. Piecing together whatever you can grab.
I just want facts. I understand decisions take longer these days with the added NIL and revenue sharing deals. UConn Basketball needs something like this for official news
I don't doubt it. It just feels like programs are all trying to stay afloat. Whats happening, at least for me, is less engagement. I used to read about each team over the summer and already have a good idea who their freshman recruits are and who their returning guys are. It made me more engaged and more excited to watch non-UConn OOC games. But since its impossible to keep up i don't do that anymore. Was listening to a CBB podcast the other day and they were saying the vein that's gonna be mined much more imare foreign players because there's not enough domestic players available to match the needs of all the teams that need players. Guessing we'll be scrubbing the back end of this list. And putting basketball aside, he's not exactly a culture fit here

Phone autocorrect is constantly butchering everything I type on this forum so understand. In short, it's auto correct. I'm a juvenile probation officer and I have a current kid on my caseload I text a lot for updates whose name is Brayden....so when I type Braylon, it changes it. I also always spell Silas' name wrong. That's my bad. Khamenia and Najai have nothing to correct to.
by the numbers:With the Portal clarifying (a bit), lets look at the potential roster...
Almost no team goes deeper than 9. The backup center position gets decent minutes. That is an attractive spot for someone. If they are good could potentially be a split. If we follow Hurley’s hint at need more money or we lose “Bball Capital of World” status and where we are number wise with roster, money may be tight and that adds another dimension to finding the right pieces. Also, kids and their “camps” are not blind to the fact that 9-15 got pretty much zero playing time at UConn. In Hurley I trust, but do the potential pieces in board with their own careers with high zero minutes possibility?
Yes we do! He should be able to to find some value guys that fit these rolesYour choices are on my potential targets list as well. In Danny we trust!
That’s fair on Isaacs …what do you think about Freeman ( Creighton) and Felder ? I think they are lower priced guys that could play 5 and some 4 when bigger lineups neededPop Isaacs has started at some major programs - he is not coming to backup Demary. It appears Slick Rick is following this model picking up Euro pro playersWas listening to a CBB podcast the other day and they were saying the vein that's gonna be mined much more imare foreign players because there's not enough domestic players available to match the needs of all the teams that need players. I'm leaving that one to the staff - I don't think anyone here will be able to guess where they're going. If anything, I'd check to see if there are any MM PG's from teams we played in the portal. That’s fair on Isaacs …what do you think about Freeman ( Creighton) and Felder ?
