Pop Isaacs has started at some major programs - he is not coming to backup Demary. Who we bring is for that role is likely someone we have no idea on. I haven't looked at mid major senior PG's, but I'd start there.

Was listening to a CBB podcast the other day and they were saying the vein that's gonna be mined much more imare foreign players because there's not enough domestic players available to match the needs of all the teams that need players. Therefore many will go overseas, and now that the NCAA is allowing foreign trips every year , they said you're gonna see some strategy with where teams go and who they play.

You’d be surprised how fairly easy it is to create one of these. A good friend of mine is the president of our school hockey program and he asked that I help with the high school team’s Instagram account for announcements and other in-season stuff. I downloaded Canva and played around with it for a few hours (in between Boneyard posts) and got a lot of good feedback. Someone doing this full-time would have a field day.

I don't doubt it. It just feels like programs are all trying to stay afloat. Whats happening, at least for me, is less engagement. I used to read about each team over the summer and already have a good idea who their freshman recruits are and who their returning guys are. It made me more engaged and more excited to watch non-UConn OOC games. But since its impossible to keep up i don't do that anymore.

Almost no team goes deeper than 9. The backup center position gets decent minutes. That is an attractive spot for someone. If they are good could potentially be a split.
I think they will get someone to play backup PG, after that it will just be practice players or break glass in case of emergency type of player. Unless there is a miraculous Freeman signing I think to back up the 4 they will rely of Ross and Landrew.

That’s fair on Isaacs …what do you think about Freeman ( Creighton) and Felder ? I think they are lower priced guys that could play 5 and some 4 when bigger lineups needed

It appears Slick Rick is following this model picking up Euro pro players

I'm leaving that one to the staff - I don't think anyone here will be able to guess where they're going. If anything, I'd check to see if there are any MM PG's from teams we played in the portal.
