Michigan Goes down!

C'mon folks let @RuffRuff have a day off after a solid early win. Michigan lost at home, which means we will definitely rise to 3!

Happy to see it. If pollsters have Purdue jump us to #3 on Monday it will be bogus.

Hard to go undefeated unless you have Geno as your coach.
We might drop to 6. Michigan could be 3. Purdue and Duke have winning streaks. I joke but possible

When are we going to stop comparing teams to 23 and 24? The level of dominance those teams displayed in the tournament is not normal. And should not be expected to be seen again.
Not sure it has been seen before by any team. I would put that team up against anyone. Purdue would have won in many other years but they ran into a bulldozer. We made excellent teams look ordinary. Never seen anything like it, nor do I expect to again. Now most thriving in NBA or elsewhere - that was one heck of a team with too many answers for any other team to challenge in games that mattered.

I've said it before...with how back loaded Michigan's schedule is, and how few top teams they have played thus far (literally just gonzaga), I'm not convinced they even end up as a 1 seed. Two massive underperformances before they even got to the meat of their schedule at the end of the month is a bit of a harbinger.

Yup, absolutely. But blame the media hype too.

Dang I just saw highlights during halftime of ISU/OSU and they called off a game-tying put-back by Michigan with 35 seconds left. Glad they lost but that was a horrific call that influenced the outcome and I can only imagine Michigan fans are losing their minds over it.

Edit: I know now that it was, in fact, the correct call.

And yet it happened

Not super surprising. Nebraska, while going unconscious from three, also did a great job of forcing the Michigan bigs to switch onto Nebraska's guards. Unsurprisingly Michigan's bigs could not keep up and were consistently beaten off the dribble. What DID surprise me was Michigan's failure to even attempt defensive adjustments. Dusty May just sort of stood there and watched it happen.

We match up well with them, strength v. weakness. Ball, Demary and Mullins would feast.
