The Huskies are outstanding. But do they understand that San Diego State is an excellent basketball team?
There are aspects of SDSU game that UConn will exploit and they are not even close to being the offensive team that Miami is. People don’t understand that when AS goes out they have to contend with DC and the score most always increases for UConn in that situation. Plus Hawk will be stronger and I am calling fora 20+ game from the Hawk

Unreal. Anyone remember when Dan Hurley “lost the locker room” this summer when some transferred out. Not gonna lie, it was a little spooky there for a while… well, trust the process.. what the heck do we know, because this has been masterful!

We committed 11 fouls. That has to be a season low.
The crazy thing is that our defense's reputation precedes us. There were numerous times that Miami players made a move, and momentarily got by their man, but the help defense in the paint was relentless, and they just retreated. Half the time they seemed to make a bad pass and turn the ball over

Hurley is beyond redeemed. We all need to repent for doubting at 14-2. This team is exactly what we thought before then. Total domination in this tournament.
Bah. The doubt didn't really show up until 14-4 after the SJU loss. But the team and Hurley have flipped TWO scripts - the midseason swoon AND the two first round exits. You cannot rebound from those two things any better than this.

I would just like to say this Miami team showed nothing but class and great attitudes. After watching the press conference with Coach Larranega, Isaiah Wong, and Jordan Miller, it's tough not to like them. We beat an excellent team tonight, and they lost to a more excellent team. They played with toughness, made a few runs, but we just had too much.
