I was just coming here to post about Giminez. Do you think we could slide Rosario to 3B? Pete-McNeil-Giminez-Rosario???
I like it, but I hate to admit that we can’t afford to sit Davis. His bat is too valuable and now he’s actually working hard at fielding 3B pretty well.

How bad does that Cano-Diaz deal look now though?

Not as bad as 3 years from now when Kellenic is the next Bryce Harper....

Oof. What a start. He may not get an out.

The Kellenic deal makes me throw up in my mouth every time I think about it.

Not to mention giving up Anthony Kay for literally nothing in the Stroman trade.. Not that I think he's great or anything, but with our rotation problems he'd be a decent #5 - him or Justin Dunn who wen to Seattle.

Of course the Mets have a COVID outbreak, because of course they do...
Dammit. Have time to watch some baseball this weekend, too. Thanks, Mets.

Luckily, nobody else in the organization has tested positive after the staff member and player did on Thursday. It looks like we're going to play ball tomorrow.

For no reason whatsoever, I have a good feeling about Lugo‘s start here.

Lugo's start = good.

Everything else = bad.

A Rosario walkoff double header sweep of the Yankees....and Steve Cohen buying the team.

Is this the greatest night in a decade?

Decade? I’d possibly go so far as to say maybe the 3rd best night in history for fans. Haha.

I'm a Yankees fan. Not going to lie, when I saw LeMahieu come up with the based loaded and they called up Familia from the pen, I'm like this game is in the bag. Let's see if I'm right.

I'm edit: I'm shocked DJ didn't get a hit or draw a walk.

My childhood hero. I wanted to pitch and followed Seaver's philosophy on building up the thighs and legs. I was a crappy pitcher, but I still have big thighs.

The film where Shamsky, Swoboda and Harrelson all visited Tom at his winery was at once a celebration of a great life while also sad knowing that he was fighting a battle he could not win.

Was well before my time, but there's no doubt he's the best Met ever. The first Mets I remember are the 2000 WS team who lost to the Yankees

I should have become a Yankee fan like my dad, but 7 year old me loved Derek Bell and his mustache after I got this card
