did you know? they're only 2 games out of first

the NFC east is rocking at 2-3, 2-3, 1-3 and 0-5

If you told me this is the trade off of 2 SB Championships in 5 years I would have taken it. But I never would have guessed an OH-fer out of the gate.

And as you say they are in a weak division so yeah they are in a deep hole but a couple wins at least would have them showing a heart beat.

I wouldnt. I am content with my team being competitive each year. The championship memory fades pretty fast and right now it's just downright not enjoyable to watch Giants football. The amount of joy from that superbowl is not enough to offset the amount of joy lost from my sundays this season.

They can copy the UConn strategy - win the conference/division.

PAINFUL........just waiting for mistakes is being a Giant fan now............and while the refs screwed them yesterday to a point they also deserve it!! The OLine is beyond pititful and the LBers are ridiculously awful.........They have a bunch of nice backup players starting in each of those aforementioned positions!

Don't forget Mundy and McBride running around in the defensive backfield.(awful).

Stevie Brown and Andre Brown are going to be the 2 players that could've made a huge difference at the start of this season .......but

Some? Marvin Austin, Phillip Dillard, Clint Sintim, Barden, Jerrigan, Rhett Bomar, Petrus, Greg Jones, James Brewer, the list goes on.

As for the 1st rounders, Aaron Ross is not good, productive? Only because he has had to play but he was not good in his first stint nor his second. Pugh is currently rated as the second worse 1st rounder in the 2013 class based on performance by PFF.

He has drafted 3 pro bowlers, 1 is a longer snapper, another is WR who left after 3 years who is now out of the league and the other is JPP.

He has ignored the LB position in the draft (passing on Bobby Wagner, Alec Ogletree, Sean Lee and Navarro Bowmen, all whom were brought in for workouts) and instead has signed terrible band aids like Dan Connor and Bullock.

The Ryan Nassib pick and trade up to get him was beyond atrocious. Now the 3rd QB he has drafted to back up Eli. First 2 out of the league, 3rd I bet is not far behind.

David Baas and Will Beatty are also grossly over paid.

So you think he should be Replaced?

There is a disconnect between the Front office and the coaching staff, Something needs to figured out before the start of next Season.

Giants should be 2-3 at the least right now, Turnovers is the biggest problem for this team right now.

Would have liked to have kept Boley instead of Rivers
MaGahee would have been a better back to sign than Jacobs(it was down to those two).

No they are 3 games out as the two 2-3 teams have the tie breaker on them.

Yes I think he should be fired. So should Gilbride and Quinn.

Fawell hasn't been great but has not had a lot of talent to work with either.

Going in this was going to be the start of a tranasition year personnelwise.

Some familiar names being let go this year( Osi, Bradshaw and Boley to name a few).

And more next(Tuck, Diehl, Snee, Webster etc)

I'm sure JR thought he could patch a 8-9 win team together knowing that the division was weak going in.

He like the rest of us didn't expect 0-5 to start.

His poor drafting and signings and inability to move on from Gilbride has lead them to missing after this year the playoffs in 4 outta 5 years. That's 80%, that's not good.

Yes there is a lot of turnover on the roster coming but there isn't a lot of young talent that excites me

Putting Jacobs back on the roster is a glaring example of people that have lost their ability to evaluate talent. Going back to the old teammate who then fumbles without being touched as he runs after the handoff. Jacobs has always struggled at catching passes. Brown should be back at RB but it looks to be too late. Wasting a pick on Nassib with all the problems on O-line was another head scratcher. How about a center or guard with Snee and Diehl at the end of their careers and Baas a bust. Mara has to be asking Reese and Coughlin these questions.

Fewell has been just as awful. The D is giving up over 30 points each game. I realize the offense is not doing them any favors with the turnover ratio and the constant three and outs but I still don't have faith in the D being good either. Fewell has lead a rather craptacular defense since he came here. With the exception of the freakish playoff performance in 2011 the Giants have consistently been amongst the bottom of the league in defensive stats.

The team needs a clean house across the board. The stench of suck is in every little corner.

Reality is all on the offensive line........if it was patched up better and able to push they would have 2 wins and less TO's period........it's the main reason they are 0-5!

I know of a guy out there that is available for coaching the OL. He even has DVD's on the Subject. He might come cheap.
