Phoenix went on their big run when Chicago forgot the concept of rebounding. With Griner in there, they were taking almost all outside shots either at the elbow or from 3. When those shots missed, nobody from Chicago was even close to the basket. I don't understand that.
 
OK, here we go, and Prince draws a foul on Griner, her 3rd 20 seconds into the quarter.
 
Dupree answers with 2, Prince with a 3 on the other end

She affects the shot on the other end. then Bonner to Dupree for 2
 
Just from the few minutes I have been watching, it appears that Prince has taken a more of a leadership role.

Then the Sky stand still as Taylor swoops in and makes a layup. I mean, they were NOT MOVING

EDD hits a long jump shot. Chicago offense was horrible with her out. Bonner hits a three...61-44 PHX.
 
Griner looked like she was going up for a dunk but Fowles stripped her. Offensive foul on Taurasi, that one was legit.

Again, and I can't say this enough...HOW did Griner only win one NC at Baylor?? She might be the most dominant player ever. She completely changes the game.

GREAT lead pass by Taurasi. She's so fun to watch.
 
This is beginning to resemble some of the more recent UCONN/ND Final Four games.
 
Fowles scores over Griner, her first points of the night (!!!). 69-48 PHX, they look so dominant. The Minnesota series really was the Finals.

I didn't think so. Sloot was moving, DT didn't lower her shoulder - just braced for the contact but didn't initiate it (I'll admit she didn't exactly back away from it either, but she clearly felt she had the right-of-way)
 
Fowles finally scores, and someone with another 2, lead cut to 19
 
taurasi stop and pop for her first points in the third quarter.
 
Taurasi with 18. She'll get MVP of the Finals if she keeps this up and they sweep.

I really thought Chicago would make a game of this after the first half.
