I have never tried Blaze, but back in my day the options on campus were Dominoes and Gumby’s. Anybody remember Gumby’s? @8893 Since we were drunk as often as not, Gumby’s was fine.
Gumby's was one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Drunk pizza. That's all it was good for.

Gumby’s sucked. I really liked Sgt Pepperoni though. Big, NY style slices were a little harder to find in Northern CT back then. Sgt Pepp’s was kind of unique at the time.

Yes I remember Gumby’s. I knew the guys who owned it. It was terrible. One of my roommates called it “a blistering disc with plastic cheese and acid sauce.”

Wasn’t there also a place called Pizza Stop or something like that, right by the turn for King Hill Road?

yeah. Forgot that one. I don’t think that and Gumby’s were there all four years.

Because it's so different, I will always say my favorite UConn-area pizza is Willington Pizza.

Started going there when my mom and I would visit my oldest sister at campus. I was nine when she was a freshman and since then, Willington Pizza is a place that has always felt like a special place to visit whenever I'm at campus.

Living in Norwalk, I'm surrounded by excellent pizza, so Willington is a welcome curveball to throw in the mix.
