You must hate the Big 12.
For the most part yes.
You must hate the Big 12.
Well thats consistent. Last week and this week have been basically Big 12 games. For the most part yes.
No, I asked for a picture from Charlotte where the game was that empty? Since the game has been moved to Charlotte the attendance has been very good. But feel free to live in the past! Having the game in Jacksonville was a major mistake that was corrected.
Is your google machine broken?
Per ESPN attendance for that game was 64,808. 88% full. Not sure when your picture was taken!

You honor your word. You honor the social contract. You are grateful for opportunities and make the best of them and show it with loyalty. When you have fulfilled your commitment and have done well, you are entitled to what the market bears. That's how I see it and that's how I've operated reasonably successfully over 30 years. On the whole, it has benefited me greatly even if in the sort run it leaves $$ on the table. Most employment arrangements are at will. That is not the case with coacheszCurious ...
I wonder if you are like this in your career and professional life. Scott Frost, seemingly, could have had UCLA or Florida ... but is going back to a PLACE that he loves in Nebraska. That actually is a contrarian thought this day. Would you stay at the corner convenience store if Shop& Save offered you 150% more; would our businesslawyer stay with his Dad's firm if Skadden Arps offered him 1000% more?
Ain't just about shiny objects for these guys. And ... I think - as we saw with HCRE - how you exit a job, marriage, school, family is important. Do the best you can with kids you presumably have relationships with.
This is the first year anyone has cared about the ACC championship other than friends and family. That has not been happening since they left Jacksonville! Look it up!
No, you said go back 15 years and show where it has happened. This was Jacksonville but it happened.
Nice of them to announce during OT that their coach is bailing.
One year they had $3 tickets.Per ESPN attendance for that game was 64,808. 88% full. Not sure when your picture was taken!

Please show us when they had $3.00 tickets in Charlotte? Jacksonville was a mistake. They have fixed the mistake. One year they had $3 tickets.
Money wise P5 is playing a different game. If they want Your coach they're getting him. With more tv money maybe the AAC could do better here.So now another AAC team has to play a "P5" team in a bowl knowing their coach is gone.
We just can't ever get a level playing field.

Nope. They will always have more money.Money wise P5 is playing a different game. If they want Your coach they're getting him. With more tv money maybe the AAC could do better here.
Right but if you ever want to truly separate from the rest of the G5's you have to be able to pay your top coaches about 3 million. That should ensure you keep your coaches from all but top half P5 schools. That will only come with more media money.Nope. They will always have more money.
We have screen time. Aresco was right to prioritize screen time.
Separate from the rest of the G5 is not too hard and very obtainable, but there will never be a day when an AAC schools can out gun a P5 school financially. Their tv money is bigger, endowments are bigger, boosters are bigger. AAC coaches would only turn down a P5 offer for very extenuating circumstances or if it’s one of the worst programs like Northwestern offering for a hot commodity like Frost. Frost would pass on NW only because they think something better will come next cycle.Right but if you ever want to truly separate from the rest of the G5's you have to be able to pay your top coaches about 3 million. The P5 conferences are overpaid by TV and we're underpaid. Should the Big 10 be paid more than the AAC? Yes, maybe 3x more or 4x more. Not 20x more. That's why the whole "P6" thing is a marketing farce.

Thanks. They couldn't even sell out with $3 tickets.TARP much Charlotte?
