Memphis Game Thread

I thought everyone would will Tierney's shot through the basket

Okay, Meg's allergies are kicking in.

There's #40 with the diaper. Not a good look.

Did Saniya consider transferring after her sophomore season? The story was mentioned during the game, and Justine just asked her about it and she had that shocked look like whaaaat???

Seems to me I read that her HS coach said that. Maybe it was just between him and her.

Is Meg's voice sounding a little different today, or is it just me?

A little "thoaty" methinks. Half the people I know out here in the midwest seem to have a little sinus issue of one kind or another. It's been a tough year for that stuff (or stuffy) again most everywhere.

Baskets in the Paint Final
Memphis 5 (3-0-2-0)
UConn 24 (7-7-6-4)

I wondered where all that was coming from. I had never heard that. (not that I'm so plugged in)

As far as I'm concerned, Saniya is a great success story. Perseverance on the court and being the first in her family to get a college degree. Her parents have got to be off-the-charts proud, deservedly so. And so should Saniya. And she's still got 8-10 games to play.

I might have missed the announcers say something but Butler either had a brace or a wrap on her right knee. Anyone mention it before?

I don't know about the rest of you, but I enjoyed the game today BIG time. What a day!!! Go Huskies.

Sounds to me like she went to her HS coach for some guidance, and he dropped the ball on what should have been (and was expected to be) a confidential conversation.

Dangerfield was pretty solid today. I still don't get the long threes. But she looked "comfortable."

Ya got me man. But that's what she said on air.
It's been crazy warm in PA for the past week+ (60s and 70s)... according to Weather.com it's been in hi 50s, 60s and even 70 in Hartford for the past 5 or so days.

Same here in NYC. My heart goes out to those with allergies. My niece was 36 when she died in her home of an asthma attack. In front of her two kids and mother, my sister. My sister also has severe allergic reactions to many things. This stuff can be very serious. Needless to say I'm highly sensitized to this stuff.

I think mebbe Natalie plays better when TT is not looking over her shoulder telling her what a klutz she is. Think mebbe?

She looked good today. No hesitation before she shot or passed the ball. Good to see. It's the right time that she and the rest of the team starting peaking.
