Not that it is a huge point but I am pretty sure that the school can give as many Official Visits as it wants. However, the recruit is limited to taking a maximum of 5 Official Visits to either DI or DII schools. Recruits may take as many Official Visits as they want to DIII and NAIA schools but may only take 1 visit per school.
Ah, my bad.

I feel she is a Uconn lean only because the type of player she is fits Uconn style not only to mention she and Daingerfield would be an awesome backcourt add in AEH. Uconn is always on TV for the big games and I'm sure she realize even if she goes to ND "Uconn has an 99% of winning the NC every year and won the last 4 but hey its her choice

It's not always about just basketball. Megan is choosing her college, not just a bball program.

UCONN has won the last 3 not 4. 99% is a pretty high estimate. 10 Championships since 1995 would be 50% .

Not all kids go to a school to win a championship. If so, they would all come to House of Geno. Some want an education for free; some want to play in a system that allows them to 'run fast/jump high' and prepare for professional BB; some want to be close to home to be with mommy and/or daddy; some just want to play (not be pushed) and have fun.

Uconn won the last 4 against ND matter of fact they won 5 and I said 99 % because we make the tournament every year and with Geno and our experience every year it's expected of us to win

Not players who are # 1 they want the top schools and I believe top players do wants a NC I mean if your a player and go to a school like a mid or low college you pretty much know your not going to win an NC in woman's basketball

So Lauren Cox and family knew she would not attend UConn but took the trip to UConn at UConn expenses. This is all legal but is it ethical?

Even if she's made her decision, who's to say she wouldn't change it were she blown away. You really gonna knock a kid for checking out an option? End of the day, it's UCONN's choice to extend an invite anyway. Zero ethical issues here.

So was Megan Walker at the ND game? No was confirmed whether she was actually there or not...
Monacan (North Chesterfield, VA) girls' basketball had a game Fri. evening versus Hanover High (scroll School Calendar). UConn/ND was Sat. afternoon. Monacan had another game Mon. afternoon versus Dinwiddie High.

Therein lies your answer.

Would note for the record that UConn plays MD at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 28 during Monacan's winter break. Both universities are on Ms. Walker's top 7 list announced Nov. 11.

For those suggesting she's already decided and about to announce, would advise against bated breath.

So over the bated breath thing over recruits. I'm with Geno ... bated breath recruit = find another.

We all "want" something. I'm holding out for World Peace.

The question is how much they want it and what are they willing to do to get it. Geno and CD provide the best framework to achieve that, if you're willing to work for it. Desire is independent of player rankings.

Some want an outstanding education from an institution that's otherwise outside of the budget (ND, UNC, Duke, Stanford, Michigan, etc), some want a school that's really strong in their chosen field, some want an urban/suburban/rural environment, some want a smaller school vs a bigger school, etc etc etc. Having recently been through the process with my sons, I know there are a thousand variables. We shouldn't assume all kids are automatically looking for the best basketball school.

Based on that game, which I hope she does not, I'd say ND would be her choice. Without their star and one other starter, they lost by only 10. UCONN simply could not stop them from beyond the arc. 65% from 3? Just wow!
Oh, Eric, really?

Yea, well don't think that's gonna happen. One, I think Metta's used up most of his NCAA eligibility, two he's already played professionally, and three....he's a guy

And don't forget people relate better to different people. Don't forget, most people make decisions based on emotion and later justify through rationalization, i.e. chemistry.
