another rapid-fire talker (a huskies tradition) and i expect K9 will be a hit with the (shrinking) horde. really impressive is the absence of hmmms, ummms and other fillers in her speech. and only a soph! .... i wish she would release a smile more often ... CD can resolve that.
I thought that was the implication also by what she said. I also think it was because her job primarily last year was to get the ball to JuJu and Kiki. She has a complete game as was visible in the U19 tourney. She also looks stronger now than even in that event. She is a pure point also who has no problem running an offense. Really strong PG position for us this year and come to think of it, we ain't exactly weak at any other number either!Interesting that she says she wants to show what she can do because she didn’t get to last season. I added that last part, but I think it’s what she meant. If so, then I think we’re in for a treat this season.
Super is a filler. I haven’t ever said it in a conversation; another sign that adverbs have virtually disappeared.another rapid-fire talker (a huskies tradition) and i expect K9 will be a hit with the (shrinking) horde. really impressive is the absence of hmmms, ummms and other fillers in her speech. and only a soph! .... i wish she would release a smile more often ... Here you go…Super is a filler. I haven’t ever said it in a conversation; another sign that adverbs have virtually disappeared.
K9s don’t smile. 😉Maybe she can take smiling lessons from Ashlynn. 😀
Does Geno and CD only recruit smart players with their heads on straight? I think a lot of that is they have looked for not only talent on the floor but young ladies who have benefitted from a close, nurturing family background and support system.Well here we go, another UConn player with her head on straight...........
Darrell, thanks for posting this video. When you post future players in this series, would it make sense to create separate threads so that comments regarding players do not get intermingled?I’m assuming this will be a series featuring the new players, so I’ll try to post them as they become available.

They're not smiling. They’re showing off their pearly whites. 😆
Olivia Miles. Transferred to TCU after TCU knocked Notre Dame out of the NCAA tournament.Kayleigh's interview got me wondering. Her last game at USC was a loss against the team she transferred to. (Just call me Captain Obvious.)
Have any other players transferred to the school that they played against in their last game with their former team?
I think that K9 is going to be another KK type of player for the Huskies. I didn't think so at first but in watching the few available practice videos and re-watching the Elite 8 game a few more times, I agree with most everyone else here, she can be a very good addition this season.
Thank you.Olivia Miles. Transferred to TCU after TCU knocked Notre Dame out of the NCAA tournament.
When I get that kind of 'Grin' I start counting my fingers to make sure they are all still there! 😎
If they are snarling, that's OK too.K9s don’t smile.
