What does he have to gain by trashing Ollie? Certainly no one expects him to I hope. It would be entirely stupid for a coach to do that to another coach. Hurley is smarter than that.

I know I'm getting up in years but this isn't the first time Jalen has referred to his head coach as just "Hurley". I am all in on JA and Idk...just don't like it.

The best thing going for UCF's chances to get to the Sweet 16 is the fact that Cincinnati isn't written on their chests.

not a big fan of either of these two (especially Goodman) but there is nothing to see here. Goodman is talking more of perception. In that we don't want to be a conference that has a non-basketball school with no tradition being picked number 1 in preseason polls. Which you get on the surface but it's one year, a no-name school can have an experienced laden team that is billed to have a good season. Plus that is how tradition starts. Goodman is kinda being a tool in the sense that he is legacy struck. And Rothstein completely missed his point (if his post was in retaliation). UCF clearly has a good team on paper, whether or not they stay healthy and live up to the billing is another story. I wouldn't count on it but that's just me.
