Bummer for the girls. But you know why they don't want them to go home. IMO, it would be too easy for one of them to return to campus and test positive. Then.....there we go again. The men's team is already on their second go-round of a suspension of team activities because of the virus:

By MIKE ANTHONY DEC 9, 2020 - The UConn men are through two days of a COVID-19 shutdown and the UConn women have just come out of one. The women are scheduled to open the season Saturday and nobody knows for sure how long the men's team will be off the court.

The women's team is already two weeks behind other teams in the conference. I don't think they can afford another two week lay-off. Better safe than sorry. 2020 has been a hell of a year, and one none of us will soon forget.

I agree about the schedule, but most things for the next few months truly are "day to day." Fingers crossed!!

Enjoyed this interview. We haven't heard from Shea in a while. I'd like to hear from the other coaches too, and get their perspectives on the state of the program, and their opinion on the current development of some of the players. Thanks for posting this Rings. Two thumbs up.

This is a smart, classy lady who IMO flies under the radar as an assistant but I believe she's going to be an excellent head coach somewhere someday.
