I remember her once saying, after swishing the latest in a series of 3s; "That last one didn't even touch the net."
 
Dee shooting free throws on a McCarville foul. Taylor and Griner are in with their 4 fouls each as is Brunson. Dee is making Minny pay...she's taking over the game.
 
Uh-oh.....scramble for the ball on Minny's end, and a very questionable foul on Taylor, her 5th....
 
NOw we have the whistle concerto by the refs....Dee picks up a reach in foul. Minny is not hitting their shots..

But Diana, in her usual fashion, drives to the basket and gets Moore to foul her.

28 points for Dee, in my opinion, working towards player of the game.

80 - 67 with 7:19 to play. Time out Minny.
 
Not looking good for Minny. Not hitting shots and too much DT
 
And as much as I love Maya, I believe that Diana deserved that WNBA Player of the Year, seriously. She is taking this team on her back...
