And the Phoenix Phans are with joy and gladness!!! As am I.
Shots from behind the midcourt line ought to count at least 4, mebbe 6. Incidentally, BG was also magnificent.
under DT's guidance... Diana makes the players around her betterBG has learned how to compete. She shot 71% during the series.

DT is like Kobe... you gonna have 110% or you'll be called out about. They play with passionAgreed!! DT has been an incredible mentor.
No she didn't - just ran in for half time, as if that's just the way it's s'posed to be. Later they interviewed her and asked her about the "prayer", and she said "Whaaa? That wasn't a prayer, that was a SHOT."It's not her first rodeo, man. been there done that. She gloated the first time way back when

I stand corrected, my memory is a little fuzzy... it was a long time ago

I believe you are referring to that 60+ footer she nailed vs. Tennessee at halftime a few years ago.
My recollection is that when asked, later, if that was a favorite spot to shoot from, she said, "Yeah, but at the other basket."
"Booing? I thought they were mooing."
In Game 2, for whatever reason, DT was the distributor and was too often the second or third option on offense. With her game lacking tempo her shooting was very off. The real Phoenix game and DT showed up last night. I agree with those who think DT is the best player in the game today. Maya carried her team this year and deserves MVP recognition, but in overall game and team contributions, DT is still The One. She has me soaring high this AM.
