LA would be willing to give up Lavender for her. lol.I hope she ends up in LA![]()
Exactly. Anyone who willfully chooses TN should face the consequences. That was well known before any of those players signed up. They got exactly what they should have expected. Not one iota of sympathy from me.
How about Quinnipiac? In other related news, the whole Tennessee LAdy Vols team wants to be traded to any team with a coach who has a clue how to develop them...![]()
Rather see her in Seattle with Sue, and Stewie.

Clearly not since they shipped her out after a few years.Tina Charles wasn’t enough?![]()

I wonder why Maya signed the contract when she did - it seems like something must have changed. If her contract had expired, there'd be no need for a trade - she'd be a free agent. There must be more to the story because Maya is one of the most honorable, humble and hard working players I've ever had the pleasure of following.
The decision to forego All Star captain honors, skip the National Team USA world championships with no real explanation,, and now this - none of it rings true for her character. I hope she's ok...
Minnesota put a franchise tag on her. I believe that would be the reason for the trade request.
Has it been confirmed that Maya has requested a trade? Maybe she needs more time off.
Some of the articles linked are citing WCCO TV saying that Maya is considering sitting out the season, retiring, or requesting a trade.EXACTLY.
I said this earlier in the thread and will repeat it: there is NO evidence thus far that Maya requested a trade. Shame on the initial report and the OP for suggesting otherwise and implying that she was being a diva.

Maya Moore’s Future With Lynx Uncertain
Not wanting to start a rumor or anything...but, was just wondering is it possible that Maya could be in a family way? Again...just speculating, no churning the rumor mill.
Can they core her again next year if she sits out the season?
So she didn't ask for a trade. News today.
EXACTLY.

I'm thinking Connecticut. Then, she joins UCONN as coach and, if that doesn't work out, she can use her intimate inimitable inside knowledge of ESPN HQ and be a guide there.Sounds like the same old song... Charles, EDD, Syl now Maya.... "Trade me or I'll sit out". This is the power of self-determination that the superstars have. They can make a bigger paycheck elsewhere, and most crave the time off to heal. The league and the fans are not their top priorities. One group of dedicated fans devastated, another elated.
Seems logical that she'll end up in Atlanta.
