Who’s got one? Basic or enhanced? Who’s used one but can’t do it? Who’s gone to one and now can’t live without?

Maybe you went to Europe and felt that much hygienically refreshed and now are a lifelong bidet-er. Let’s hear it.

I personally love them.

On a serious note what brands have the best drying function? I don't need to finish and have to use tp or a towel to dry everytime. Sure every once in awhile a manual dry is acceptable.
I won’t go into too many details other than to say:
  • it’s super important to find Main Street so get one with stroke and adjustability.
  • I always use 3 tp folds after just to check. But there’s never anything there.
  • takes a week or two to find bum position and where to shift to.
  • dryer dries a bit but it’s not mission critical since I’m checking with the 3 folds.

Can’t say whose dryer is best. The one I have is able to adjust the heat so as not to scorch the ruff.
They are not that expensive, relatively, but I have no idea of longevity. You’ll never have fear of colonoscopies, shoulder surgery, Covid, too many Rolling Rocks with dirt wings while praying for the vanilla ice cream to kick in, etc. To each his own. I’d guess that Reibe probably has one, being from Europe, and Furphy uses his roommates shirt. Dude ain’t soft.

I have basic ones from Amazon. Oddly enough, after returning from Phoenix in '24 post-Final Four, my high school buddy I stayed with on the last day had them all throughout his condo. I immediately went and bought a few for my place. Cleaner bum and far less TP. I believe they were called Samodra.

Did this just get moved to Home & Garden? And we’re not talking MSG. Apparently forum owner thinks all this manure talk should be spread into the garden to fertilize the tomatoes.

Good for you I guess, but personally, when it comes to dropping a deuce, or cleaning up afterwards, I cannot view teamwork as something that I would want to be a part of
There’s no I in Poo

After I read this thread it inspired me to follow through and buy one.

Finding a plumber hardest part of it. Paid $700 for install and $400 for unit that came with heated seat/water/dryer etc. remote control and lighted - looks quite modern.

All I can say is that I feel stupid for not getting this earlier.

No more toilet paper, and it’s other obvious benefits of being clean vs just wiping stuff around LOL No one in my house is not thrilled with it - and I’ve got some that were dead against it.

IMO is a “no brainer” based on the cost/technology now available - smart toilet Loupusuo $399
