Massive day for WCBB

We had a guard today have 9 turnovers and 1 assist and did not get benched for her mistakes.

Meanwhile, the number 1 recruit and Azura Stevens have to EARN their minutes at Uconn.

We are years behind and will continue to be without a coaching change
Half a like. Don't be so hard on your team. They had a bad day. We UConn fans remember Tulane last year. Keep your head up. The talent is their and they'll come around.

UCLA bouncing back nicely from their loss at Stanford. Up 34-19 at halftime. Billings is playing much better today, 10 pts. on 5-6 shooting and 8 rebs. Canada isn't having to do it all herself.

Oregon St. is stinking up the court against Washington St. Down 31-29 at halftime. Only scored 9 in the 1st quarter and were shooting about 20% from the field. Better in the 2nd quarter, but still a poor game so far. PG Pivec picked up 2 fouls almost immediately and sat almost the entire 1st half. Molina from Wazzu hasn't done anything all year, finally decided to show up today. Has 13 points and perfect shooting from the field. Tudor from OSU has 15 points, not getting much help from her teammates.

#17 Orgeon State down by 2 to Washington State at halftime.

I'm rooting for WSU, since USF beat them by 37.

Louisville leading NC State 24-1 in the 2nd quarter. Wow!

I have to say watching ND against Wake Forest, ND just doesn't seem like a team that is improving in many aspects of their game. To me this is not what I expect from a MM coached team. I look at UConn and every player seems to be moving forward in developing as a team and as a player. Conference play is still early though, and I hope for much more from ND.

They won that game in the first quarter and went on cruise control from there.

ND won by 23 (was 29 before two 3s by Penna in the last 46 seconds) and shot 55.7% from the field. Not sure what you expect.

I would like to see more effort and focus on D rather than relaxing with a lead but otherwise a good performance today.

It does seem that I read every year for the first 3/4 of the season "this doesn't seem like a typical McGraw team". I'm left wondering what a typical McGraw team is.

SoCar having a big problem with an average Texas A&M so far. 8:33 3rd 29-27 A&M.

UCLA is killing Cal, 43-21 halfway thru the 3rd quarter. I think there was quite a bit of overreaction on this board based on 1 game Friday night. UCLA's season isn't quite over yet.

Oregon St. has regained the lead but still struggling w/ Wazzu. I've seen the Cougs, they usually can't hit the broad side of a barn, but they're getting buckets today. Tudor is doing it pretty much doing it by herself--21 points and 6 made 3's.

A&M has South Carolina in trouble, and Chennedy Carter is going off.
A&M is up 41-33 in 3Q.
Carter has 26 points.

This is the year Rueck has to do more with less, so, let's see how it all shakes out in an average Pac 10 this year.

Dawn finally changed up and started to press full court. Which is how Tenn was able to beat these guys.

Meanwhile Frese's team losing 55-54 against Penn State starting the 4th. Talk about doing less with more in a barren Big 10 this year. Who says conference play ain't tough?

UCLA must be angry. They lead 58-30 after 3Q.

The announcer during the Maryland/Penn State game said Maryland is behind for the first time this year starting the fourth. Guess he forgot UConn led by 34 entering the 4th. He must have meant they hadn't been down against the pastries they're used to facing. MD is not a top 20 team at this point.

Both teams shooting 36%. Scintillating. ;)

And 50% FT shooting. Oooooh!

SoCar really feeling the "Defending Championship" effect. Average teams play out of their minds and good team play like champions.

I mean c'mon Brenda. This is a team that lost to American U by 9. In overtime.

Dawn's team looks at best just average in half court offense.

Wazzu went ICE cold in the 2nd half, Oregon St. slowly pulled away. Up 69-52 w/ a minute left. Gulic had a big 2nd half and Tudor scored a career high 27.

Wilson looks hurt for SoCar. as she hobbles off. She went down hard on her left hip. 2:00 S.Car up by 2.

You and I are going to continue to disagree about this. He's been doing more w/ less all along. And it's the Pac 12. Unlike the Big 10 and Big 12, the name of the conference actually reflects how many teams are in the conference.
