Martin will be a good man off the bench. His rebounding skills are his best attribute.

And with the added muscle he is slower on D

Everybody is enamored by muscle but I'd rather a guard can shoot the ball and play some D. The interrupted season is one reason, but we need to make shooting a priority. It solves a lot of other issues.

He has to be starting and on the court for us the majority of the game. He brings grit and toughness and is an incredibly good defender. I don’t really care about the occasional terrible shot.

Both of you guys are totally wrong. Martin lost the ball more than once, did not pull down important rebounds and did not any get important shots made when needed.
He also didn't move to stop the layup at the end. Cole got rubbed by a weak screen, Gaffney never switched and as the player headed to the basket Martin froze and let the layup go uncontested.

Love his IDGAF attitude. And it looks like Bouk talks to him most on the court, which must drive Bouk to level up the intensity

Unbelievably dumb comp, but Martin reminds of the bad Donny Marshall right when Donny thought he was a good shooter. Athletic, will play D, board, fill a lane. But at the same time, he's going to get the ball and jab step for five minutes and bog everything down.

Obviously, Donny had some spectacular offensive games. But there were times where he was painful in the half court.

Martin has that knack for the rebound you cant teach, Cole needs to be more selective with his 3's (seemed to chuck up a couple with little time off the clock or running through offense). AJ was impressive snatching the pass out of the air for the steal however i Think the best is yet to come. Im hoping for the second half Bouk had last year but a little worried. I think Carlton started to shield Sanogo from foul trouble but we didn't see much of him. Would like to see Tyler come back strong tho!!
