The game is on FS1 now. After about 6:30, Marquette is up 11-9. Fairly entertaining game.

Man I miss the old Big East after seeing this game and last night's.

At the end of the first quarter it's Marquette 15 Oregon St 14. MU is having no problem trading baskets with OSU. Defense is pretty good too.

OSU field goal % is 37% and MU's is 27% yet Marquette is winning 18-16.

Louisville vs. MSU is in ESPN2. Louisville is up 33 to 20.

OK, now it's getting sloppy. I think the teams are frustrated but it's not necessarily the D causing their offensive woes.. Shots are missing by a mile. Not sure what happened.

"Let's give a big shout out to the University Presidents who killed the greatest Basketball Conference in NCAA history." Well, if it isn't exact, it's close. Who said it: Geno. Repeated by a color commentator in the NCAA final between Louisville and UConn I think.

Game has been stuck at 20 all for a while. It seems that MU is getting a lot of loose balls and steals.

Now MU is up 24-20. Lots of one on one stuff by OSU with MU is doing a good job on OSU's star big girl Ruth Hamlin. I hope this game isn't typical for OSU as they've been pretty unimpressive.

Oregon St. Looks overated and slow to me. But then again the west coast has to be represented by someone in the top ten.

Hamlin has several blocks but otherwise hasn't had much impact on this game. I can't believe some poll had her first team AA over Brianna Turner.

It's 30-25 MU at half time. I hope OSU is just jet lagged or something because other than a stretch early in the game, they look pretty ordinary to me.

I can 't believe that Lachina just compared Hamlin to Stewie . I just love listening to the BS some of these announcers throw out there.

So, #7 OSU beats 2-5 Marquette 65-58. Granted, the game is on the road but I would have expected a more decisive victory. I need to see OSU again but so far I'm not convinced OSU is top 10 but then Tennessee remains in the top 10 despite some poor play. Are there really no other teams worthy of being top 10?

No fooling? How did I miss that? Thanks for clearing that up for me. Insights like that are rare.

Well some posters still lament about Conference expansion and the breakup of the "Old" Big East as if it happened recently
