Credit to Notre Dame for fighting through this one. Ogunbowale took over at the start of overtime with a couple quick buckets and Marquette was playing catch-up the rest of the way.

It's almost unbelievable that a team with no player over 6 feet tall can be this competitive with Notre Dame without being a good 3-point shooting team. Outside of bench player Spingola (who was 4 of 6 from three), Marquette was 2 of 22 from the arc.

Westbeld deserves some credit also she played determined.

I would say no team has looked dominant in the first six weeks of the season. Every team has had lots of ugly play.

ND wasn't much better from beyond the arc. Maybe they hit several in OT but at one point late in the 4th I checked and I think they were something like 4-20 or so. Not a good shooting day for them...
