Marquette forward Oso Ighodaro has been named BIG EAST Men’s Basketball Scholar-Athlete of the Year. The selection was made by the Conference’s Academic Affairs Committee.

I can't complain about Oso. He is basically like Okafor. He graduated in 3 years and is working on his MBA in his senior year.

They still are, he had two slumps this season and ended up 50-40-90 which is unheard of.

Was going to say the same thing. Oso is so mature for his age. A leader, scholar and baller. Hard to dislike him. He’ll do amazing things off the court when he’s done playing

Not sure how exactly they do it. Must be some criteria the committee looks at. I mistakenly said "coaches" in the OP but there is a committee for this award. From the article:
