Karaban had a case. He's not getting a lot of respect this week from the BE coaches. Hope he goes off in the BET!

If AK's shooting slump was even 1 game shorter his stats would be ridiculous. The BE coaches are going to be sorry.

I can't complain about Oso. He is basically like Okafor. He graduated in 3 years and is working on his MBA in his senior year.

That’s pretty impressive although I still want to compare his GPA with Alex’s. :)

Was going to say the same thing. Oso is so mature for his age. A leader, scholar and baller. Hard to dislike him. He’ll do amazing things off the court when he’s done playing

Is this voted on or is there criteria?
Not sure how exactly they do it. Must be some criteria the committee looks at. I mistakenly said "coaches" in the OP but there is a committee for this award. From the article:

The selection was made by the Conference’s Academic Affairs Committee.

I think his GPA is close to 4.0. I know Stevie Mitchell has a 4.0
What I find interesting is that I think Devin Carter lead the Big East with 6 weeks on the Honor Roll.
