There's a really strong chance that UCONN will set a new margin of victory record in 2013-14. Last year UCONN won games by 32.7 points per game. Take the Big East games of Syracuse and Notre Dame off the schedule (not including the Final Four game) and UCONN's MOV is now 36.8 which breaks the record set by the 2001-02 squad. Moving UCONN to a weak conference means no Notre Dame and significantly easier competition for the bulk of the season. While this wont be great preparation for the tournament, it will make for many lopsided victories. I personally think with the move to an easier conference, UCONN will set a new record this season for margin of victory. Do you?

I'll vote yes, why not. Gotta have something to strive for.

It depends if Geno calls the dogs off or if he lets them go to town. He likes to use situations like that to practice new plays and try new combos. As for the margin that is non important. What is important is the win.

The likely of breaking the record is increased by playing in the weak AAC.

The likelihood of me nodding off mid game is also increased. :)

You know my answer is yes. Some think Im crazy for saying it will be tuff to keep UConn from scoring 100 pts a game. Some thought I was crazy when I said 195-0 and without key injuries and with EDD transferring I didn't miss that prediction by much. Yes I'm positive over the top by many fans standards and that's part of what makes this board fun .

As weak as our new conference is our OOC schedule is stronger then any conference schedule in the nation. You see when you come down to it the top teams in the nation over the past few years have been Duke Stanford and Baylor and we play them all on the road except Stanford at home if I remember correctly. I don't remember by MD may be on that list and Cal were playing in the Maggie Dixon classic and I think we are playing Penn St too.
