Etiwanda beat Archbishop Mitty on a putback at the buzzer to win the state title. Both Kennedy Smith and Morgan Cheli suffered ankle injuries in the game but came back to play.

Dawn Staley was in attendance.

Kennedy Smith: 30 points, 13 rebs, 6 steals, 4 blocks

Morgan Cheli: 24 points, 6 rebs, 5 assists, 4 steals

McKenna Woliczko: 18 points, 10 rebs

Allie scored 20 in the 1st round which was tied for the best mark on the day but fell 19-18 in the semis.

Caroline beat Azzi in a 3-point contest. Azzi is clearly the better shooter. In fact, she is the BEST shooter.

I ran across a video of a 2016 3-point contest between the Splash Brothers. Both Klay and Steph were close to sinking all 25 shots.

Allie will be excellent for us.

All three looked like legitimate high school AAs. Exciting game. Hope UConn will get one of them.

I see KK was shown as 5-10, i think that is the first time I have seen her listed above 5-9. Allie has been described as 6-0 for awhile now after being listed by ESPN early as 5-10. Keep growing girls!

Zakiyah Johnson: 30 points, 8 rebs, 5 assists; Sacred Heart won state title

I hope Geno and staff are recruiting Zakiyah hard. She’s a natural 3 level scorer and the fact that she’s only a Sophomore is mind blowing. A future star.

After seeing the development and positive experience A. Edwards is having at UConn, I have to think the Crestwood coach is pointing out the advantages of the program to Fournier. I agree with these guys, she's going to have outstanding versatility at the college level.
Possible, however Fournier and her family also have to believe that UConn is the right fit. Also, Coach Davis is the type who will lay out all possible scenarios considering he's been in contact with all of the programs listed in her Top 8 from when Aaliyah, Day-Wilson and Lattimore were at Crestwood.

Looking at the projected roster per Raoul's website, playing time could be minimal, when you have Patterson, Samuels and Ziebell already listed as wings. Will she be willing to play more of a forward position and bang in the paint? Will she be willing to wait her turn? Considering her Top 8, there are several schools where she would have to bide her time. I take that as a sign she may do so, but not really convinced that she would.

Oh my isn't enough. Two hands lightning quick, with an edge. Loved watching the highlights, Need to see a little bit more of her outside shooting abilities.
unfortunately undersized, but I’d pay to see her play…

She has a scholarship offer.
I’m sure she has plenty of those. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

I meant visiting, going to see her on the circuit, player and staff connections, etc.
